He claimed that Prometheus, a new, next-generation language model, is what powers Bing and is more potent than ChatGPT for searching.
Mehdi said that the Prometheus model offers several benefits, such as raising the relevance of replies, annotating answers with precise web links, obtaining more recent data and optimizing geolocation, and enhancing the security of searches.
As a result, he claimed, the Bing algorithm has already seen consistent improvement. Microsoft recently used AI to improve its main search index, which resulted in the “biggest rise in relevancy” over the previous 20 years.
