What’s “Beardify”?
Beardify is your creative twist for this year’s No Shave November.
It’s a fun way to support cancer awareness – by showing what you’d look like with or without a beard, using AI.
No matter who you are — male, female, or beard-free by genetics or choice — you can participate.
All it takes is one photo, a dash of creativity, and Google’s Nano Banana AI tool. 🍌🤖
Why We’re Doing This
The heart of No Shave November is simple:
“Skip shaving, and donate the amount you’d usually spend to cancer awareness or research foundations.”
At Beardy Nerd, we wanted to make this cause more relatable, digital, and fun.
So we created the Be Quirky Beardify Challenge – where AI helps you join the cause even if you can’t (or don’t want to) grow a beard.
How to Beardify Using AI – Google Nano Banana
Follow these simple steps to generate your AI beard look 👇
Step 1: Open the Tool
Go to Google Nano Banana (or access via Google Gemini).
Step 2: Upload Your Photo
- Choose a clear, front-facing photo of yourself.
- Good lighting and a plain background give the best results.
- Make sure your face is visible — no filters, no sunglasses, no heavy shadows.
Step 3: Type Your Prompt
In the prompt box, write something like:
“Add a neatly trimmed beard to this photo in a realistic style.”
or
“Show this person with and without beard in two versions, cinematic portrait, 8K quality.”
💡 Tip: You can experiment — try “stylish stubble,” “full beard,” or even “silver-bearded professional look.”
Step 4: Customize Your Output
Once generated:
- Choose the beard style you like most.
- Optionally, generate a second version without beard for contrast.
- Download both images — these are your official Beardify entries!
Step 5: Share & Participate
Now that you’re Beardified, it’s time to join the campaign!
