Flying over NYC, is it a UFO or a Drone?
A passenger in a commercial jet saw a structure resembling a cylinder flying above LaGuardia airport last month. It confused her and the public and sparked intense suspicions that a UFO might be above New York City. Following the discovery of the mystery object by a woman named Michelle Reyes, federal aviation officials have already started gathering information. Authorities haven’t, however, released a statement addressing the sighting. She saw that another passenger had also seen the black thing going at incredible speeds, far faster than the aeroplane.
An Analysis of The Unidentified UFO/ Drone
Thomas Wertman, the state director of the Mutual UFO Network in Ohio, saw something in the tape and was drawn to it enough to analyse it for The New York Post.
Wertman came to the conclusion after watching the footage that the object was not a drone, a news helicopter, or a military aircraft. He noted that these were extremely implausible scenarios given the object’s height, form, and closeness to a busy commercial flight path. Wertman clarified that drones do not supposedly fly at such an altitude, even legally per say.
He also said that if the object had anything to do with the military or law enforcement, it wouldn’t normally be operating so near to a busy air route. Concerns regarding the possible dangers presented by such unexplained objects were highlighted by his assessment.
This observation led one expert who has studied possible extraterrestrial visits to conclude that the enigmatic cylinder might pose a serious threat to aviation safety. Federal officials and aviation specialists are perplexed by the incident, which has prompted calls for a more in-depth examination into the nature of the object and its origins.
Although there have been numerous reports of UFO encounters in the US, the Pentagon has not yet discovered any proof of alien technology. According to the New York Post, a representative of the Federal Aviation Administration stated that there were “no reports” on the perplexing encounter from pilots.
