Meta Started Ethereum and Polygon Testing for NFTs in the US

Recently, Facebook is testing the use of Ethereum and Polygon NFTs with a few participants based in the United States.

The company Meta has been waiting to be able to offer NFTs on Facebook, so they are offering them to some US users. They are limiting the feature in a few ways, like at the moment only offering Ethereum and Polygon NFTs. Once the test for these two NFTs is successful, they plan to add NFTs for Flow and Solana.

Facebook account holders will be able to access the NFT feature via the digital collectibles section. It’s available as-of-yet in the US, but Meta plans to roll it out to all users on Facebook. Facebook could potentially become another marketplace for NFTs.

Users will be able to link wallets or Facebook IDs to the platform with others simply being able to share, like, or comment. Users will also be able to gift NFTs with this feature. The best, most in-demand NFTs will be on the platform.

The Meta NFT blockchain is expanding

Facebook is not the only social media platform to use blockchain technology. Meta has launched the Avatar Store on Instagram and other platforms to sell digital clothes for avatars. Users can buy these clothes from their mobile phones with Meta Pay, a payments service that is easy to access.

Meta has started adding a virtual store in the real world. The Meta Store will allow customers to walk in and test their products. Investors are wondering what crypto coins to invest in with the release of their new store.
